Melissa is a third-year law student at St. John’s University School of Law where she is the Vice President of the Labor Relations and Employment Law Society and a member of the Public Interest Law Students Association, OUTLaws & Allies, and Women’s Law Society. Her past work experience includes clerking for Administrative Judge Dorsey at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and interning for Honorable Nicholas G. Garaufis in the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She enjoys reading about current events, exploring New York City, and playing basketball.
