The Supreme Court heard two cases this week, Gonzalez v. Google and Twitter v. Taamneh, which could have major effects on social media and speech. If Section 230 protections fade it is likely that entities such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others could further monitor or limit communications online because of liability risks.
